- 5lb logs of ground beef manager marked down to move fast.. $3.99 each, thats about .80cents a pound vs "sale" price of $2.39 this week.. suckers.. scooped them all up, put them in the freezer.. each log is burgers for a week
- 3dozen eggs, on sale $1.00 each
- bag carrots
- bayer aspirin, on sale $3.00, free with $3.00 coupon.
just too easy.

Low Carb Broccoli Cheese Soup
Broccoli Cheese Soup
- 4 cups chicken broth (im using the chicken broth granules)
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup half-and-half
- 4 slices Cheddar cheese singles
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup onion chopped fine
- 4 cups or 1 bag broccoli flowerets , chopped into small pieces
1. combine chicken broth, water, half-and-half in wok and heat on medium, add torn up pieces of cheese. Use whisk to stir and keep cheese from sticking to bottom.
2. when cheese is melted, Add onion and pepper. Slowly add flour and stir with whisk so no lumps form. Bring to boil and then turn to low heat.
3. Add broccoli and simmer for 15minutes until soft. Stir occasionally
Top with Shredded cheese when serving. will have about 3-4carbs per bowl depending on how many servings you make.

dont tell me you cant eat low carb - lunch
blasted some legs in gym today, came home starven like marvin.. heres what i had
- one jumbo meat ground beef patty... cheese, no carb mayo, mustard, onions, jalapenos
- bowl broccoli, one organic carrot, one tomato, with ranch dressing 1carb per serving.. i chowed down on that carrot like bugs bunny.
total carbs for lunch =2 .. carbs from vegetables are free so you can have as many as you want.. just too easy.. skip all that high carb processed food.. the bread, chips, etc

Protein Bar for Free
pretty sweet deal getting food for free, the difference between what im doing and those fatbodies on the extreme coupon shows is that i dont get garbage food even if its free..just because i can get 22 frozen pizzas for free doesnt mean i throw out everything i have learned about what makes people fat, ie high carbs, processed carbs. but heres a deal you can jump on if you shop at Kroger, Pure Protein Bars are on sale for $1.00, go to http://www.pureprotein.net/ and sign up for newsletter and you get a $1.00 coupon.. free..Blamm.. really hard core, then do that on different computers and get multiple coupons.

My Low Carb Red Robbin Meal
today made a trip to the local Red Robin hamburger joint, Mrs.Lexus and I received two coupons for a free burger from a local blood drive. each got a Bacon Cheeseburger to go.. first off, without those coupons this meal would have been $19.58... $20 bucks.. are your F'ing nuts.. $20 bucks for 2burgers and fries.. you know how much meat i could buy for 20bucks.. crazy. Whats common for newbies that try to eat low carb is what to do when they eat out.. do this simple thing..dont eat the bun and the fries. Lets see what we have in this to-go box.. a bacon cheeseburger, a little light on the burger,very light on the bacon, heavy on the bun(all carbs), fries (all carb), and a container of tomato flavored high fructose corn syrup (all carbs)..
Take off all that crap that will make you fat.. specifically the bun and the fries and dont use their ketchup. Eat the burger by itself..since i took it home, added some more mayo(no carb), some mustard(no carb) and another piece of cheese(1carb)... see that plate on the right..thats a big plate of carbs.. nasty..thats why you are fat.. fat and broke you keep paying $10bucks for a burger.
Too bad too, those fries used to be a favorite of mrs.lexus.. asked her if she tried one, "i just spent all that time in the gym, im not going to ruin it by eating a french fry"... truer words have not been spoken.
Also asked her how the burger was.."not as good as yours".... damn skippy.

Bacon Chicken Alfredo Pizza Recipe - Cheat Day
for those of you that are fortunate that you can eat whatever you want and not put on fat or for the rest of us that are having a "cheat" meal... here is a tasty pizza recipe
Ingredients:
- one large pizza crust
- half cup alfredo sauce
- 2 chicken breasts, rinsed, cooked and cut small
- 1 package bacon, cooked and cut small
- 1 cup or bag of mozzarella and chedder pizza cheese
- 1 tablespoon garlic herb topping
1. Cook the chicken and bacon seperately.
2. Preheat oven to 400. spread the alfredo sauce over the pizza crust, then top with remaining ingredients.
3. bake for about 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted.
-all the carbs are coming from the crust of course so no reason you cant modify this and just mix all the stuff in a bowl minus the crust and have a tasty meal that way. Too easy.

Extreme Couponing - Met-Rx Bars
did my weekly trip to Kroger to see what the manager specials / markdowns looked like..
- had two coupons for Met-Rx protein bars.. each coupon was $2 off on 2 bars. the markdown bin had some bars at 79cents each, friendly cashier manually entered a discount equal to the cost of the bars since coupon would have given me a credit, bought some carrots for 88cents just to actually buy something. so walked out of store with four free protein bars and bag of carrots for 88cents. its too easy. keep paying full price, slave.. thats what the white man wants you to do.

Low Carb Pizza Sandwiches Recipe
This was originally designed to be put on top of an English Muffin but seeing how i'm not a slave anymore and dont eat carbs its modified without it.
Ingredients:
- 3lbs ground beef
- one onion chopped fine
- two green peppers chopped
- package of pepperoni, chopped into small pieces
- 15oz of No Sugar Added Pasta Sauce
- can sliced black olives
- can diced tomatoes
- shredded cheese
1. in wok, brown ground beef, when meat is almost done, add the onions and green peppers and cook until they are tender.
2. Add the tomatoes, olives, pasta sauce, and pepperoni and stir well.. cook for a few minutes at medium heat.
3. Spoon a serving into a bowl and top with cheese.. dont be shy with that cheese.
Going to be about 3 carbs per serving.. if you are going to do a cheat day or cheat meal or want to impress the ladies... toast some English muffin halves, then top with the meat mixture, then the cheese.. but all the carbs are in the muffin.
