Breakfast Meat for low carb eating

This is a breakfast recipe along the lines of what you would get if you went to a fast food joint to get a breakfast burrito. Also could be called taco meat i guess. I eat half a cup of this along with 3-4 eggs in bowl for breakfast.. so does mrs. lexus.

Ingredients:

- 3lb log of ground beef (remember all those logs of markdown beef i got the other day... this 3lb log cost $1.99 total)
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 taco seasoning packets (.33cents each)
- 3/4 cup water


1. in large wok, crumble the ground beef and cook medium high heat. Drain liquid as it accumulates.

2. when there is only a little pink left i add the chopped onions.. stir fry until meat is no longer pink.. Drain again any liquid. reduce heat to low
3. add the 2 packets taco seasoning mix and the water and stir well
 Let cool and then tupperware. This wok will last us for a week and will yield 12 half cup servings. So for breakfast measure out a half cup and put in bowl and microwave, i cook 3-4 eggs overeasy. dump the eggs into the bowl, grind it all up, add some hot sauce, pepper.. boom bam done. No carb breakfast. You can use this meat for tacos, eat it by itself. you can use hard boiled eggs and tupperware and eat it at work.. wife adds cheese. Optional ingredients: green peppers, jalapenos, cheese. Now for about $2.75 i have made meat for breakfast for the whole week. Just too easy. what do you have to lose except that huge fat gut.

Half cup serving of this meat is about:
Protein:  18grams
Fat :30 grams
Carb: 1
